Stefani Lynn Wallace

Jessica Bocade (Victoria): Jessica is thrilled to be joining the cast of Quatrefoil. Recent work includes In Cognito (SheFilmsMedia: 1st AC), Muriel & Joyce Get a Boat [Feature] (SheFilmsMedia: Dr. Herring; 1st AD), and Muriel & Joyce Get a Boat [Short] (SheFilmsMedia: Pastor; Props). This is the first Kalamazoo stage production Jessica has been involved in since graduating from Western Michigan University more years ago than she cares to admit. In the years between then and now, her life took her to Iowa, to New York, and then back home to Michigan. Jessica has her BA in Theatre Performance from Western Michigan University and her MFA in Acting from the University of Iowa. Thank you to Laura, Lisa, and RJ for the opportunity, and to the cast and crew for such an incredible experience!

Heather Purcell

Heather (Fanchon Froelich Cully) is a Kalamazoo native that has gotten back into theater after a 20 year hiatus. She reemerged herself with the love for the stage after taking classes with both Anthony J. Hamilton and Shannon Hill at the Kalamazoo Civic Theater during the summer and fall of 2023. Quatrefoil is her debut performance and she is proud to showcase her growth in performing arts with this talented cast and crew.

Lucas Campbell

Lucas Campbell (Ensign Phillip Froelich)  is a 30 year veteran of the stage, and was last seen (in person) in the All Ears Theatre production of “Phoenix Reborn”.  He has been active with Bare Backstage Productions since 2018, and is also a member of Open House Theatre Company. In addition, he is the founder of TDS Productions and co-host of the Pick ‘Em Wars Podcast with Luke and Corey, as well as the Parlay Buddies YouTube show.

     He would like to thank Laura and everyone at BBP for their continued support and love, as well as RJ Soule for this great opportunity. “To Lisa, mom, dad, Cody, Erin, and Corey…thank you from the bottom of my heart, for being there. I love you all”

Stefani Lynn Wallace (Sybel Jo Voth) is extremely honored to be performing in RJ Soule's Quatrefoil. Stefani has over 30 years of experience in theatre & film. She has been blessed to have performed in Greece, Italy, North Carolina, Illinois & Michigan – most of which has been in and around the Kalamazoo area.  You may have seen her in the Skits & Giggles production of "The Odd Couple (The Female Version)" as Sylvie, QTK productions of "Step 3" as Vee & “Of Masquerade & Rhymes” as Hannah,  The New Vic Theatre’s productions of “Ghost Stories: Chapter 2” as Ghost Bride & as herself and in “Romeo & Juliet” as Lady Capulet. Besides acting in theatre, Stefani has been in numerous independent films in the Kalamazoo & Grand Rapids areas.  In addition, Stefani has worked in front of as well as behind the camera in several television series & feature film projects, while living in Wilmington, NC. Stefani would like to thank God, her family, friends, Lisa Marie Parker, the cast & crew of Quatrefoil for all their love and support as she follows her dreams.

Sharon Weissmann

SHARON WEISSMANN (Madame)

This is Sharon's first performance with Bare Backstage Productions. She most recently portrayed the role of the Wicked Witch of the West in Goshen Theater's production of The Wizard of Oz. Prior to that she portrayed Clairee in Steel Magnolias at the Bristol Opera House. She also portrayed M'Lynn in Three Rivers Community Players production of Steel Magnolias.

She has been involved in acting for over 40 years now, starting in high school. Sharon is retired from the United States Postal Service where she was a Customer Service Support Supervisor for over 30 years. 

When she isn't involved in the theater, she volunteers as a tour guide at Black Pine Animal Sanctuary in Albion,IN and the Potawatomi Zoo in South Bend, IN. 

Sharon grew up in Muskegon, MI and now resides in Cassopolis, MI. She would like to thank her husband, Karl, and her children and family members for all their love and support.

Jordan Boley

Jordan Boley (Francis) has performed in various plays and musicals at Mattawan High School, Paw Paw Village Players, Kindleberger Festival, and the Kalamazoo Civic Theatre. His notable credits include Claude in Hair (PPVP), Brad in Rocky Horror Picture Show (PPVP), Rooster in
Annie (PPVP), and The Toymaker in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (Civic). Jordan is a chemist by day, but loves
to sing, and you will usually find him at the local karaoke bar. Jordan would like to thank his high school director David Hook for helping him find his love for music, his longtime friend and choreographer Don
Fialkowski for helping him realize his love for the stage, and last but not least: my parents Scott, Alana, and my sister Kierstin, for always believing in me, supporting me, and being the three best people I could ever know.

August Gallagher 

“August Ryan Gallagher (Lieutenant Cmdr. Lee Brunner ) started his early years in the theatre with the Paw Paw Village Players in shows including Big, The Trouble with Summer People, and Hair. He later attended Columbia College Chicago where he studied theatre. While I’m Chicago he played as an ensemble member with Democracy Burlesque. Following this, he took a sabbatical to teach English in Japan. Upon his return to the states he began performing again in Xanadu, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Goodnight, Tyler, and many others.”

Joseph Clark

Joe Clark (Boatswain Stuff Manus), a rising Sophomore at Kalamazoo Valley Community College, majoring in Communications, is honored and excited to make his BBP debut with Quatrefoil. He was last seen in Center Stage Theatre Kalamazoo's production of The Music Man in July 2023. No stranger to the stage, he has been in over twenty productions at multiple theaters in the Kalamazoo area over the past 8 years. Mainly working with Center Stage Theatre Kalamazoo, he also has been in a few drama camps at the Kalamazoo Civic Theatre and was in majority of his school productions while he was in high school and middle school. He also was a part of his high school's Forensics team for a few years, shaping him to be a better actor and speaker.
Some production highlights include Mary Poppins, Annie, Disney’s Mulan Jr., Into the Woods Jr., Willy Wonka, Chicago, The Wizard of Oz (CST), Les Misérables, Little Shop of Horrors, Peter and the Starcatcher, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged, Revised),
Hindsight 2020 (PNHS) and many more. He was also on crew for a few productions in high school and loved working behind-the-scenes. He is very excited to bring this beautifully written show to life and would like to thank RJ Soule, Lisa Marie Parker, and his family and friends for their endless support. It means the whole world to him!

Kate Mikhailova

Kate Mikhailova (Pat Danelaw) is very greatful and honored to participate in the Quatrefoil production! A Belarusian immigrant, Kate moved to Kalamazoo 10 years ago and loves being a part of its theater community. Some of her recent roles are Donna in Mamma Mia! (What A Do Theatre 2019), Hungarian Countess in Murder on the Orient Express (Kalamazoo Civic Theater 2022), Caliope in Xanadu (Kalamazoo Civic Theater 2022).
Kate is a real estate agent and part time flooring design associate, she loves traveling and spending time with her children Mikhail, Maria, and Katya.

Bryan Huey

Bryan (Lieutenant Cmdr. Tim Danelaw) is happy to be reunited with some old friends for this production of "Quatrefoil" as well as having an opportunity to make some new friends.  Past acting credits include Ken Gorman in "Rumors", Bartholomew in "Corpus Christi", Bauer in "The White Rose", and Ed Carmichael in "You Can't Take It With You".  He has also been a stage manager for "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", "A Raisin in the Sun", "Seussical the Musical", "Little Shop of Horrors", and "Shrek, The Musical".  Break a leg everyone and let's give 'em a show!

Jan Watson

Jan Watson (Stage Manager) has been involved with several local theatres, including Kalamazoo Civic Theatre (SM, ASM, crew, usher, Education and Outreach/Academy, Volunteer Committee, Playreading), Farmers Alley Theatre, and Kindleberger Festival (Performing Arts Chair 2012-2018). She would like to thank RJ, Lisa and Laura for the opportunity to work on this show.

Lisa Marie Parker 

Lisa Marie Parker (Director, she/her) is a 50 year veteran of stage, film, and television and has performed from LA to NYC, Michigan to Mississippi. She is the founder of The Knockabout Theatre Company and co-founded the Gulf Coast Dinner Theatre Company. An award winning Actor, Director, and Producer, her favorite roles to date include title roles in Elizabeth Rex and Medea, and Annie Wilkes in MISERY. 

R.J. Soule

R.J. Soule (Playwright) began his writing career in the early 90's at ACTORS & PLAYWRIGHTS INITIATIVE.
While a resident playwright there he was awarded the IRVING S. GILMORE EMERGING ARTIST GRANT and one of his plays, ALTERNATIVE MUSIC also received a production at THE LITTLE
ROOM DOWNSTAIRS in Houston in two separate seasons. His one act play HOLY ELMER G was an award winner in Theater Kalamazoo Original 10 Minute One Act Festival. Other full lengths that have been produced are CIAO! EDIE, THE FALL OF THE HOUSE OF POE and last year's critically acclaimed production of THE EPISODIC LIFE.
